Changes coming soon!

SO MANY CHANGES! I'm not even sure where to begin.. First of all, new 2011 prices will go into effect as of April 1st 2011.. Anything already booked will not be effected by the price change, and anything booked before April 1st will also not be effected, SO BOOK BOOK BOOK..

I'm working on revising the print release, as well as a model release form and working on some contracts, to kind of tie up all my loose ends. Those should be ready by the first as well.

I have also removed wedding packages from my price list, for several reasons.. If you have any questions regarding this new change you can email, facebook, or even text/call me if you have my number and I would be more than happy to go into more detail with you. I know there are a few of you who have been asking about wedding prices and packages and It is something I've been thinking about doing for awhile now. I am just not properly equipped to shoot weddings. I can, however, recommend SEVERAL amazing wedding photographers in and around the OKC area to those of you who still need a wedding photographer.

Last but not least you can all look forward to seeing Sarah'Cole Photography expand within the next year. I plan to branch out more, offer some new and improved session packages, revamp the blog, have a website built (AHH! :D) and I'm working on POSSIBLY being able to offer indoor session packages as well.. SO cross your fingers for that one!

I'm so very SUPER excited for everything new that is coming, and I hope everyone else is,too!! (:

A day not lost

One of my favorite things to do on a "free day" is to just drive around and look for new shooting locations. Then again, this is probably every photogs favorite past-time.. Today, I went out sort of late but I really needed to get away for awhile and just relax.. and nothing relaxes me more than hearing that shutter "click" over and over in my hands. I found an awesome green field, a quiet little fresh water stream && probably one of the coolest barn/fence/wind mills that I have ever seen. The day was not lost, and I also snapped a few photos of the gorgeous Miss Olevia Morgan while I was at it. I can't wait to shoot her and boyfriend's couple shoot at this nice little location.. Here are a few photos from today's adventure. Enjoy!

Try not to fall in love! ;)

There is nothing that I enjoy more than a great couple session! Seriously, all that lovey-dovey coupley stuff just makes for a great day. Who doesn't love being around HAPPY people? I know I do! ;) I recently had the opportunity to work with one seriously funny, awesome couple. My cousin, Khristian, and her boyfriend, Chris. They were TONS of fun, and made the day so easy.. I ended up with an insane amount of awesome shots, which made for one HAPPY photog! ;) I'm so excited to share some of my favorite photos of the day with you all && I hope you enjoy them just as much as I did. Try not to fall in love! ;)

Snow day!

Today was a huge success. My sister Katie & I have been planning a snow shoot for some time now; Today we had the perfect setting, about 4-6 inches of the powdery white stuff and nothing but time. So, after dressing in layers (well me anyways :p) we headed out. Katie is by far one of my FAVORITE people to shoot with, mostly because we've been working together for SO LONG, that just gets me. We had a blast, as always.. despite the freezing cold weather! I even fell in the snow, twice. Lol! Here's a few of my favorite shots from the day. Enjoy!

Opening- Celeste & Jalan

Hello! So, I know I'm extremely late on the whole "Photography blog" thing and all but, with all of the things I've had going on I just never found the time to start one and keep it up. I'm hoping this time will be different.

I'm starting this blog off with one of my favorite shoots that I've done recently. Celeste & Jalan. (:
Celeste is a good friend of mine, and had been bugging me forever about getting some couple shots of her and her new beau (I say 'new' but in all actuality, they were best friends for a looong while before they started dating and have now been living together for over a year.. Kudos to them, right?) So, we packed up and headed to the lake for a sunset shoot. Now, I say sunset shoot lightly... because the sun set way faster than we had planned for, and the weather was not ideal but, in the world of photography you will quickly learn that not everything works out the way you anticipate it to work out. None-the-less, we had a great time. Celeste & Jalan were on top of their game that day and totally worked it out. Nothing makes a photog happier than some easy to work with, fun loving, beautiful people... Overall, It was a brilliant day, and the photos are like 'still proof' of how much fun we all really had. (:  Check it out,ya'll!

Can't wait to work these two again, hopefully there's a wedding in their future! ;)
